The newsletter contains sections on pre-school opportunities as compared by Commonwealth student Darlene Beazer, the PR (Public Relations) department's celebration of Edward L. Bernays's 97th birthday (he was 'the father of modern public relations'), and a sidebar titled 'At Christmas' with prayers and poetry offering peace and power in the world. There is information on student and faculty awards, conferences, publications, and presentations, a limerick contest, new building excavation, carrying the 'torch' in the Olympic relay, and Almanacs on sale at the development office.
